CoachEd6 coordinator Renzo Kerr Cumbo, and MCAST’s (Malta) academic experts Ivan Woods and Herman Bugeja have been participating in a 3-day UEFA PRO Licence Student Exchange which saw the participation of UEFA PRO learners from Malta, Israel, North Macedonia and Wales. This exchange had the participation of many high profile coaches and coaching experts, Gareth Southgate, Roberto Martinez and David Moyes to mention a few.

Woods and Kerr Cumbo have recently obtained their UEFA PRO licence and are hence participating in this exchange in their remit as learners. Herman Bugeja has lately been appointed as the Coach Education Coordinator at the Malta Football Association and has hence participated in this exchange as Malta’s incoming coordinator. Ivan Woods has also been appointed as the Head of Grassroots Development with the Malta Football Association in 2020.

This experience from the three Maltese academic experts, who also bring substantial field expertise shall reflect in the development and delivery of the Award in Sports Coaching being developed by CoachEd6.
