A meeting between CoachEd6 lead coordinator Dr Renzo Kerr Cumbo and Ms Charlene Attard, the project coordinator on behalf of the Maltese Olympic Committee an associate partner to CoachEd6 has been held few days ago.

The Agenda of this meeting was to kick start an important phase of this partnership between CoachEd6 and the Maltese Olympic Committee. In its interest in extending coaching education opportunities in Malta, the MOC has committed itself on three main pillars on this project.
– The Field Expertise provided to CoachEd6 during the design process of the units.
– The coordination and provision of Job Shadowing opportunities Malta will be providing to foreign partners’ learners.
– The provision of the opportunity for sports coaches to join the Award in Sports Coaching (EQF/MQF Level 6).

Charlene Attard and Renzo Kerr Cumbo left the meeting committed to reach out to the Maltese sports and sports coaching communities to coordinate this in a way that Maltese sports, the coaches and finally their athletes benefit out of this Coaching Education Programme.
